Maxfort School, Dwarka began its journey with children, parents, facilitators and the community on 31st March, 2006.

Dr. Kiran Bedi inaugurated the school on 31st March, 2006. She is internationally recognized for her services in Indian Police Services and is a recipient of the Magsaysay Award in the year 1995.

A presentation “Nurturing Young Minds” was made by the facilitators along with a performance by the dance facilitator invoking God's blessings.

In the first year of Maxfort, the students had the privilege of meeting the Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Sheila Dikshit.

The students received a warm welcome at her residence. She was presented with bouquets by them.

The Chief Minister was extremely delighted to meet this   enthusiastic group of students and invited them for more such    visits.

The students of Maxfort School, Dwarka paid a visit to Mrs. Sonia Gandhi on the occasion of Rakshabandhan in August 2007.

The children tied rakhis on her wrist as a symbol of their love and affection.

She interacted with the students and appreciated the memento made by the students that was presented to her. The students received presents which made it a truly memorable day for them.

Theatre - a performing art is a social endeavour where there is a synthesis of art, music and dance. These are the inspiring words of the famous theatre personality, Barry John, who enlightened our students about the different aspects of theatre.

His idea to work with our children was to make them more accomplished in team work and presentation skills.

He worked on improvisation and helped the children to add spark to the play that they had presented for him.

A very inspirational day for our students indeed!
