A Day With Barry John

Maxfort Vision

The Maxfort Philosophy
Every child is unique
A bundle of innate talents and abilities
A genius waiting to be discovered
A personality waiting to be groomed
At Maxfort we recognize this simple and profound truth.

Every child is educable, when given a conducive environment. We respect the diverse capabilities of each child. Keeping in view the evolutionary changes and the changing face of society, there arises an urgent need to develop an ever-evolving curriculum so that children get a balanced and complete education. We seek to empower our students with a solid foundation of knowledge, life-skills and help them to evolve into socially conscious and responsible individuals.

School Vision
‘Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps, down new roads, armed with nothing but their own vision.’
Ayn Rand

The curious mind of a child is a happy cauldron of questions driven by this simple yet profound word, “Why?” Education to us is an invitation to a child to explore, not impose. To fire the imagination and encourage the child to fearlessly ask, “Why?” To patiently guide her/him towards a path of discovery and to find his own answers after considering all possible view points, and have fun while doing it all! Only then is a child creatively inspired and truly empowered to take on the challenges of life.

Learning at Maxfort
When you open a child’s mind to exploration, it can produce amazing results. Curriculum must be designed keeping in mind a scientific understanding of how children learn and develop. It must open up  children’s minds to accept newer ideas and to shift focus from accumulation of knowledge to critical thinking.

It must also take into account the varying needs of children at different stages of their growth. Only then can children develop skills for a happy, healthy and successful life.

At Maxfort we believe in providing this to each & every learner.

Parents as Partners
We believe, as the child’s first educators, parents are vitally important partners in her/his progress.

They usually know the strengths and weaknesses of their child, and seek professional support from school to help their child overcome her/his limitation. For this very reason, we at Maxfort value sharing child-specific information with parents.

Towards this end, a Walk-In Meeting is held once a month, Open-Days are set aside at every term-end and a Parent Orientation Meeting is arranged at the start of every academic year.
