Empowerment at the Middle Level

(Classes VI to VIII )

During this stage, children become adolescents. This is a difficult time for students as they go through dramatic physical changes and immense emotional upheavals. Understandably, the facilitators at Maxfort take on the role of mentors and students are guided to make effective adjustments in the family, peer group and society. The Curriculum is aimed at helping students become active thinkers and confident learners. Young students are now expected to apply their knowledge in various formal and informal situations and communicate effectively with those around them. Formal learning and activities such as field trips, counselling sessions, personality development and workshops have been designed to promote self-awareness and understanding.
